The best step in the face of the end of Windows 10 support is to upgrade to Windows 11. But before you decide, make sure your computer meets the minimum hardware requirements:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 2nd generation or later, Intel 8th generation or later
- RAM: 4 GB minimum
- Hard drive: at least 64 GB of free space
- TPM: version 2.0
- BIOS: UEFI mode
How to upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11?
1. via Windows Update
Simplest method:
- Go to Start → Settings → Updates and security → Windows Update
- If an update to Windows 11 is available, a message will appear with the option to download and install it.
2. through the Installation Assistant
If the update has not appeared automatically:
- Download the Windows 11 Installation Assistant from the Microsoft website: Microsoft official site
- Run the tool and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. advanced installation from ISO file (for technical users)
- Download the ISO image of Windows 11.
- Open a terminal with administrator privileges.
